Perform administration and management of Pappas’s inventory control/procurement system, Eatec. Maintain database integrity through system and report monitoring and examination. Support Operations Management in efforts to achieve cost management objectives, procedure changes, restaurant issue follow-up, purchasing questions and cost updates.
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, IT, business or related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- High level of interpersonal skills and professionalism
- Must understand food conversions and measures or have aptitude to learn with ease
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Must be able to quickly adapt to new computer software and learn quickly
- Understanding of database structures helpful
- Ability to deliver maximum results in minimum amount of time
- Eatec experience a plus
- Purchasing experience and/or purchasing program use experience a plus
- Restaurant operations experience/food & beverage management experience a plus
- Knowledge of Pappas systems and standards a plus
- Eatec Data Base Management
- Manage systems for adding new items to system and insure consistency is utilized.
- Input new and existing recipes into Eatec recipe module maintaining speed and accuracy.
- Utilize Recipe Viewer as a resource and insure both systems contain consistent information.
- Communicate system discrepancies to Management for resolution.
- Document the need to include missing data and information in either system.
- Evaluate database integrity and make corrections and adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain integrity of Eatec system by checking reports to uncover disparities and/or errors.
- Notify Management of issues, follow-up with locations and troubleshoot.
- Insure system imports and exports are executed accurately.
- Keep associated drives/servers organized and easily accessible.
- Create and maintain explanations and notes of updates and changes to system.
- Assist in developing systems and documentation for Eatec end-users.
- Maintain documentation editions and complete revisions as necessary.
- Communicate changes to other departments so that it can be incorporated into existing documentation and training systems.
- Insure Intranet posting are kept current.
- Analyze existing reports to insure cost, inventory management, purchasing, and operations objectives are met.
- Effectively communicate findings to Management.
- Assist in documenting findings, report access and best uses.
- Assist Eatec Manager in organizing and distributing materials as needed.
- Coordinate and record meetings, develop follow-up documentation.
- Maintain process flow (log sheets, department systems, area updates, etc.).
- Insure food weights or volumes are documented on the conversion sheet.
- Communicate information gaps to Management for completion.
