From the family-owned Pappas Restaurants group, Pappasito’s Cantina has long been a Texas favorite for its bar offerings and its fajitas, which come out to customers sizzling on a platter. Pappasito’s is turning 40 this year, and the chain of restaurants, which has a popular San Antonio location, is celebrating with a month of specials that are sure to make more than a few folks happy.

Through the month of October, the Wednesday fajita special will get kicked up a notch as Pappasito’s will offer 40 fajitas for $40 starting at 4 p.m. on Wednesdays, according to a news release.

For comparison, the regular Wednesday fajita special is measured by weight not quantity, and the price points range from $48.95 for a pound of beef and chicken to $64.95 for a full pound of beef.

Another goodie for the month-long celebration is a commemorative 40-year anniversary mug that comes with the purchase of a Fiesta Fizz or Pappasito’s Signature Reserva Margarita. Pappasito’s will also offer a special Fiesta fudge brownie for dessert.

Starting at the beginning of October, customers will also be able to enter an online raffle to win a $400 gift card.

“We look forward to celebrating 40 years with our valued guests all month long and beyond,” said Chris Pappas, CEO of Pappas Restaurants, Inc., in a recent news release.
